Bringing Outdoor Education to New Heights

For our 5th annual outdoor education conference, we’re heading to the mountains of Colorado, which is also home to Nature Knowledge headquarters. Teachers from across the country will come together to share best practices and learn from each other with the goal of advancing environmental education in classrooms (and outside of them) in local communities.

Schedule At a Glance

After a brief welcome and introduction, join conference attendees and special guests for a reception and networking opportunities.

Choose from a wide range of sessions depending on your interests, including professional development, teaching with technology, grant writing and more. A keynote speaker will present during an onsite lunch.

A second day of sessions will focus on case studies from fellow educators and lessons on leadership from multiple perspectives. In the exhibit hall, meet vendors and our sponsors.

Field Trips

Extend your trip with optional conference field trips in the Denver area. We’ll visit local schools, nature centers and a national park to inspire you and teach you new tools and skills.
